Flowers and Leaves

Hello all. It's my turn to share a DT project at the Get Hippity with Ippity blog. Our theme this round is to use a flower and a leaf. I used two Ippity sets this time, Now and Always and Just Wanted to Say. I made my own designer paper with the stamps, and cut out two leaves for an accent. The die cut circle is a Spellbinders die, and I punched out the sentiment circle. Cardstock is Mellow Moss from Stampin Up!, along with their ink colors in Cameo Coral and Sage Shadow. Other papers from my scrap bin. There is only a few days left to enter our challenge, so click the link above!

For The Boys

This week at 2 Sister's Challenge Blog our theme is to use a male image in your project. Our sponsor is the Digi Garden, and I chose this cute Pirate image. He's colored with markers, and left his legs free to bend like he's sitting on the side of the ship. I wish I had a better sentiment that was pirate themed, but this will do. Hope you can join us this week, thank you for stopping by!

For Teacher

Friday is my son's last day of school. How this year flew by! He is only in Kindergarten, but has enjoyed it very much. He has an awesome Teacher, with such patience, and the ability to get the children to listen! Wish that worked at home! I made this card for his teacher to show my appreciation of her. The apple was cut using the Plantin' Schoolbook Cricut cartridge. I added cork for the stem, and other papers for the core, seeds, and leaves. And a little 'homework' piece as an embellishment. I hope she'll like it! Thank you for dropping by!

Stars

This is my DT project this week a 2 Sister's Challenge Blog. Our theme is stars, and our sponsor this week is Meljens. I have chosen this cute dog image called Get Along Little Doggie, and used that as my title for this LO. The image is colored with my pencils, and I'm using a new blender pen from Dove, and have to get used to the blending and shading, as it is a lot wetter than my other Marvy blender pen. But it works wonderfully! It is for my pet album that I have, and will add a picture later. I stamped a large star down the one side with an older Stampin Up! stamp to fit the theme. Hope you'll join us this week, and thank you for dropping by!

Get Hippity with Ippity Sketch

Happy Thursday! I'm here to share my DT project at the GHWI Challenge Blog! We have a fun sketch for you to follow, which is shown below! I used two Ippity stamp sets on this card, Friends+Flowers=Priceless, and Regal Greetings for the sentiment. I die cut the flower image with a Spellbinders die, and the flowers off to the side are punched out with a Fiskars punch. The blue paper is from Teresa Collins, and the cardstock is Stampin Up. There are only a few days left to enter to win a stamp set of your choice from Aletha!! Thank you for dropping by!

Make it Girlie

Another fun week at the 2 Sister's Challenge Blog! The theme is Make it Girlie, and we have two sponsors this week, Digi Doodle Shop, and the fabulous Kenny K!! My first card uses an image from DDS, and is called 1800 Vintage Victorian. She is colored in with my pencils, sentiment is from Unity, and papers are from Pink Paislee.
My second card is of course a Kenny K image! This is the first one I've ever done. Isn't she sassy?! She is also colored with pencils, a few Spellbinders and Sizzix dies, sentiment from Lawn Fawn, and the DP is from Cosmo Cricket. Thanks so much for stopping by, and hope to see some of you join us this week!

A Diorama

I was browsing through YouTube and found this fun tutorial on making a diorama card. It folds flat, and fits into a standard A2 envelope. The Lawnscaping Challenge blog's theme this time is Clean and Simple. This is not my typical CAS card, but I wanted to do a little something different than just a regular card, and think this will do just fine. I used 3 sets of Lawn Fawn stamps on this, On the Mend, Critters in the Forest, and Ornate Ornaments(for the grass). I was happy to make this card, as I've been in a paper crafting funk lately. Haven't had much desire to create. Hopefully it will pass. Thank you for looking!

Late DT Post!

Yes, I'm a few days late posting my 2 Sister's DT project! But here it is! Our theme this week is Anything Goes, and our sponsor is Stitchy Bear Stamps. I have chosen this image called Dandy flower by Floppy Latte Designs. I have watercolored it with my distress inks, and cut around it to attach it to the tag. The tag background has multiple layers of distress inks, stains, and stamping. I just kept playing until I was pleased with it. The sentiment is an Inspired by Ang set from Unity. Hope you get to join us this week!!
