Groovy Presents

The challenge theme at The Stamping Boutique blog is to 'show me the presents'. I decided to use an Ippity itty bitty called Something Groovy. This stamps artwork is by Tracey Malnofski, who is the artist for The Stamping Boutique images. She is also a designer for Unity Stamp Co.! Her images are all fun, and great to color. Speaking of coloring, I used my new Letraset ProMarkers on this one. They are the muted blending set that I ordered from Amazon. That was my first time ordering from there, and was quite pleased. They have some awesome deals! Anyway, I tried to get a tie dyed background by using my alcohol inks on glossy paper, then blowing the ink around by blowing into a straw. Came out pretty good. That's it for me today, hope you had a great weekend!!

Just Minty!

Hello all! I've decided to join in the fun for the Minty Fresh in the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. The trigger for me was the color, and the pretty cell phone case. Love the deep embossing on it.
I used a Sizzix EF on my card to simulate the case. I chose to make this a winter card, and used two Lawn Fawn stamp sets, Ornate Ornaments, and Making Frosty Friends. I love light blue and brown together, so of course mint green goes with brown(mint chocolate chip!). So a cool card it became!  One more card for winter done! Friends With Flair

I haven't joined in on the Friends with Flair day at the Unity blog for awhile. So here is mine for today! I used Unity's Feel the Joy set, and the Ippity set Now and Always. The bird and leaves were cut from my Cricut on the Give a Hoot cartridge.  Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!!

Missing You

I finally got some ink for my printer and am able to print off my digital papers. The ones I used on this card is from Stampin Up! called Comfort Cafe. I just love the colors! The card stock is from Stampin Up! as well. And am pleased to have everything match. The flower stamp is from Unity Stamp Co, and can't find the original package, but it is an Itty Bitty. And that is the theme for the challenge at the Unity Opportunity blog, to use an Itty Bitty! It is watercolored in. I am also getting in under the wire at Chick Challenges {with Ippity} with their sketch challenge. Thanks for calling today!!

It's a Beach Thing

I haven't colored with my ProMarkers for awhile, so I decided to join in for the 'At the Beach' theme going on at Passion for ProMarkers blog. I colored this Tracey Malnofski image called Summer Laundry Line from The Stamping Boutique. I still only have the basic set #1 markers, so I did a lot of blending with the blender pen. I would have liked the sand to be a bit lighter, but am pleased none the less. The sentiment I thought was cute for this image and is an Ippity by Unity set, and I stamped it with black Stazon. So, if you're a ProMarker fan, click the link above to join in. Thanks for stopping by!

A Cool Down

Hello! The hot summer heat has given us a break today here in in northwest, finally. I wanted to take my mind off of it and make something cool. Well, cool weather anyway! The Lawnscaping Challenge Blog has a one layer challenge going on. Now, that's easy for me if I have some nice backgrounds to cover the front, but I don't have any of Lawn Fawn's. So I have to go with the scene one layer card. I'm always a bit hesitant to do these, I just feel like things are in the wrong place. I'm happy with this one! I did the reverse stamping of the cute seal to get two of the same images facing each other. Everything is water colored with Stampin Up! ink colors. I did add some rhinestones and glitter to the snow to dress it up some. One card done for winter! I am entering this card to the Lawnscaping Challenge link above. Here is the complete set I used called Critters in the Snow. Such cute Critters for sure!! Thanks for calling!
