For All Things Stamp Set-Holiday Catalog

Today the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is now available to view and purchase!! My card for today is a bit off beat than what I normally make. For one, it's a 5x7 size. I do like a larger card, but I rarely do it. I suppose because it takes a whole sheet of cardstock. But that shouldn't stop me, like I said, I do like a larger one!! :)

This card is also a bit more fussy than usual. I've used some new Designer Series Paper called Color Me Autumn, and I also stamped the large panel with stamps from the For All Things set. But, I tried to add some solid colors in to break it up a bit. A die cut leaf, Blackberry Bliss ribbon, and the fun new wooden elements in leaves and acorn shapes. The gold buttons are also an addition to the new catalog.

I had to add in some twine, it's my favorite embellishment! I also glued on some gold sequins from the sequin trim that my generous upline Holly sent me!!

So that's my first project share from our new catalog! To see the rest of the catalog, click on the link at my sidebar. Thank you for stopping by!

Stampin' Up!'s Four Feathers Stamp Set and Dies

Hi there! The card I'm sharing today uses items out of the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, that goes live tomorrow!! The new stamp set called Four Feathers, and it matching Sizzix Framelit dies, Feathers.

I'm not quite ready to let Summer go, so I stamped these in bright summery colors of Coastal Cabana, Rose Red, and Crushed Curry, which I die cut one of the small feathers. The card base is Smokey Slate, and stamped it in the same color. I added a little girliness with half of a Tea Lace Paper Doily. The sentiment is from another new stamp set called For All Things, and actually says 'hello fall', but I only wanted the hello part, so I masked it off.

The new Holiday Catalog is full of wonderful new fall/winter and Christmas items!! Just wait until you see it!! :) Thanks for stopping by today, and I'll have another share tomorrow!!

Working With Vellum

The card I'm sharing today shows how I embossed, with clear powder, a piece of vellum. Vellum has been around the paper crafting world for quite awhile, and I haven't really used it very much. Stampin' Up! has sold it for just about as long, so I decided to try it out again.

After I embossed it, I added some soft coloring to the back with the Stampin' Write markers. The card base was stamped with the retired hostess set, Simply Sketched in Blackberry Bliss, as well as the sentiment from the current Four You stamp set. A small bit of designer paper behind the vellum from the Moonlight stack to make the embossing show up a bit more. And I did sew on my machine the two pieces together, haven't done that in ages!!!

A few punched flowers, and done. I do want to play with the vellum again soon, maybe dry embossing it. Love that look too!! Thanks so much for having a look today!!

Flower Shop by Stampin' Up!

Today's card features the Flower Shop stamp set and it's coordinating punch called Pansy punch. I stayed with the Bright's collection of colors on this using Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay that I stamped the background with the Gorgeous Grunge set.

I wanted to dress up the center's of each flower, so I've used the 1/2" circle and the flower from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack. I also added pearls to the centers of those.

The sentiment is from the Four You stamp set, and is punched with the Extra Large Oval, and accented with some candy dots in matching colors. A little bit of looped twine and some punched leaves were the final embellishments. A rather bright and cheerful card don't you think?!

Just a reminder, on Monday I am starting my Punch Art Week!! I have 5 punch art projects to share, and will also have videos as well!!! I am excited to kick this off! Thanks again for stopping by today, and have a wonderful weekend!!

Stampin' Up! Little Letters Dies

Hello there! Today I have a card that I used the partial die cutting on with the Little Letters Thinlit dies. I shared a picture tutorial on this awhile back here on my blog. It's the same method used here. I've used Strawberry Slush cardstock to die cut the word 'HI', and did some subtle stamping below it with Versamark ink. The designer paper is from the All Abloom stack.

Here is a side view of the partial die cut. I also added a few sequins around, and the Pistachio Pudding Thick Bakers Twine.

Starting next Monday, I am doing a Punch Art Week!! I will have a full week of Punch Art projects with videos as well! I hope you can join me!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Triple Layer Stamping

I have seen this technique a long time ago, but never tried it until now. You layer three different pieces of cardstock temporaily together, then stamp all of them. Take them apart, then layer them each with another color of cardstock. For mine, I used the Dictionary background stamp first in Crumb Cake, then one of the flowers from the Petite Petals set in Chocolate Chip. The sentiment is from the retired hostess set, Simply Sketched.

This technique could have numerous results with different stamps. I think I'll try a different one soon! Thanks for stopping by for a look!!

Scalloped Tag Topper Punch Treat Holder

Hello, and happy Monday! Today's project is treat holder that uses the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. I've shared one of these before, this one is a bit larger. Very simple to make, cut any length of cardstock, score twice for the base, and use the punch on each end.

I've used two different stamp sets for the sentiment, Four You, and Teeny Tiny Wishes. All this holder needs now is a treat!! :)

Thanks, as always, for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Stampin' Up! Twine and Pearl/Rhinestone Holder

Hello there! Today I have a video tutorial for you, showing how I made this holder. I was inspired by Sam Donald's Framelit holder that I shared a while back. So I took her design and made a smaller version to hold my twine, pearls and rhinestones. It's a quick and easy build, and I love having them on my desk to see!

Measurements:
8 1/2" x 9 1/2" cardstock
Score shortest side at 2 1/8", and 6 3/8"
Score longest side at 4 1/4" and 6 1/2"
Designer Series Paper: 4" x 2 3/4"
