Friends

I'm joining the sketch and color challenge at Your Next Stamp.

YNSSketch44
YNScolor-44

I've used the YNS set called Smiley Happy Critter Crew Two again, choosing the bird and cat images. I stamped them onto watercolor paper and colored them with dye inks, then fussy cut them out.

Following the sketch, I made the sentiment banner using the YNS set  Happy Everything. I love the large Happy word. There are many smaller sentiments in this set to make lots of sayings. I chose the we're friends because of the cat and bird images I used, so fun! I also added a few circles that I made with punches.

Thanks as always for visiting!

Shades of Purple

I'm joining in the Shades of Purple challenge at Double D's. Here is their mood board:

I've used an image from the July KOTM from Unity. I've colored it with various alcohol markers, and sponged the brown for a look of a table. I stamped the card base with a stamp from a SMAK Unity kit. A few punched leaves in more purple shades, tied with twine.

The sentiment is in purple as well and cut into a banner. Hope you like my purple creation, and thank you for visiting!

Missing You Tag

Sharing quickly today a tag I made for Unity's Facebook Challenge. This time we are to use an Itty Bitty stamp. This one is called Love Runs Deep, and I've had it for a long time now, I love the sweet flowers.

I colored it with dye inks, sponged the background, and added ink splats with a wet paintbrush and ink. A little twine at the top for embellishment and done.

Thank you for stopping by!

Unicorns

Inked up the other unicorn from the C.C. Designs Unicorn Dreams set. Colored with my Spectrum markers. I fussy cut her out and added her to the scene I made with some of my older Sizzix dies.

I really need to start using my dies again. I have quite a few, but am always looking for more ;) The cloud comes with the stamp set, and I fussy cut it out as well. The sentiment is punched out with a label punch. She does have some wink of stella on her mane and tail, but may be hard to see.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Hello

I'm playing along with the challenge at Your Next Stamp, which they have a sketch and/or color challenge to follow, and I did both.

YNSSketch43

YNScolor-43

I won one of their challenges last month, and this stamp set and die is what I picked for my winnings. The set is called Smiley Happy Critter Crew Two. I stamped and colored the cute dog with dye ink and a blender pen, then fussy cut him out.

I had the perfect designer paper from SU! to match the color challenge, and die cut the word in two of the colors, then slightly offset them. I added a few sequins to match as well.

Thanks so much for visiting!!

Riding By

Sharing this cute Tricycle Marci image from La La Land Crafts. I colored this with my various alcohol markers. I didn't want too much else on this card, cause she's a large image, so I just used a border punch on it, and punched out the sentiment.

I got some stamps from their clearance sale, and they all had pandas in them, I just love them! I've passed on some of my panda stuffed animals on to my son, but I still can enjoy them and give them a hug now and then :)

Thank you for visiting!

Sharing what I made for Unity's facebook challenge this week, which the theme is to use any Unity Girl image.

The stamps I used are from the March and May kit of the month. She's colored with water color pencils, and I lightly blended them with my blender pen. I wanted a more bold look with the colors on this one. The sentiment is die cut with the Deco Label framelits with some gold thread behind it.

There is a bit of stamping on the background patterned paper, but it's mostly covered up. I was going to make this a 5x5 card originally, then changed my mind :)

Thanks as always for visiting!

Gift Box Punch Board

Today I'm sharing this box I made with the gift box punch board following the color challenge at Splitcoast Stampers using Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron and Night of Navy. The desert option this time is add a die cut.

I wanted a larger box this time, but you need a 12x12 piece of card stock. Well, I don't buy any 12x12, so I modified two pieces of 8 1/2 x 11. I wish I would have thought of this a long time ago, but now I'll keep doing it!! This box calls for an 11x11 piece. So in order to get a full square, I used  the full length and cut down the 8 1/2" width to 5 1/2". For the second piece, I used the full length again, but cut the width to 5 3/4" so I could overlap and adhere the two pieces together. Now I have a full 11x11 piece! And the way this box opens(explosion style) the seams are hidden on the inside, perfect!!

To decorate it, I went full on with the die cut theme. The only stamping is on the tag. I used Sizzix, Memorybox and Quickutz dies. 3 sides are decorated:

I couldn't help but to add those cute tiny ants! They are the perfect size to go along with the fence! Thanks for stopping by for a visit, and if you have this punch board, remember that you can make your own sized paper!

Thinking of you Panda

Coloring some new images I got from La La Land with my Spectrum markers. The stump and sentiment are from one set, and the Panda is from another. I haven't colored trees or bark before, and I'd like to have some texture on the stump, but this will do for now.

After coloring, I sponged ink for the sky and grass and added a few more wispy blades of grass. I fussy cut out the panda and attached him with glue dots. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to align the sentiment since these are rubber stamps.

I added a little bow paper clip that I got from the Dollar Tree. Thank you for visiting!

Happy

This sweet little Girl is called Happy Twila and is from C.C. Designs. I've colored her with my Spectrum markers, and layered her up with some of my old Sizzix dies.

The plaid paper is from My Favorite Things, and I also added some punched flowers and leaves to the frame. The sentiment is from the Happy Sentiments set, and has the cute tiny flower in it as well.

Thanks for having a look!

Framed Flowers

Sharing a card I made with a Unity stamp I won a few weeks ago called Second Chances.

I stamped onto a piece of Shimmery White card stock from Stampin Up. It's great paper to color with wet applications as it doesn't pill. This time I used a blender pen and inks. I wanted to add a background that looked like old wallpaper, but not too bold, so I used a snowflake stamp from Unity from the Snow Way set. I stamped it with brown, and I like how it looks!

Hope you all have a wonderful Independence Day! It's raining here now, but hopefully it will clear up for all the parades! Maybe I'll do a little crafting later, haven't been in my craft room all weekend!

Thank you for visiting!
